It was great to return to Bahrain seven years after living there. Bahrainis are generally lovely, sophisticated people. Manama is a great town. Be sure to visit the fine restaurants of "Little Paris" in Adeleya, the beaches on Muharraq, and the Sheikh's Beach in Zackhar. The Dilmun Club is a great place for expats and western visitors to relax.

I like the way their roads are so wide, clean and so brightly lighted all night long! Lots of lights on all their roads. Contrary to what others might think, Bahrain is a very modern, although very small state/country. I loved my stay there.
