Greece was sooo beautiful and sooo quaint with the whitewashed buildings/homes and blue trim... I love the food and the Greek people were very helpful to this American... I had some of the best peaches of my life in Pylos Greece.. yumy..

hotel was verry bad, cold and not verry clean( they lie to us about the conditions of the hotel. we make the reservation in the internet!!), food verry expensive, there are a lot of thiefs there and they steal our money and documents in the metro. the police mans was verry unpolite with us, they didn't do anything and we didn´t receive any help there. we enjoy more the Aeginia island where the peoples are fine and helpfull. i recomend you Stela's restaurant where we eat the best mediteranean food - salad and fish. then there we visit Aphaia's temple, wonderful place; Saint Nectarios church too is a verry nice place to visit,Cristian ortodox church.in Athena we visit almost all the historic monuments and museums. Greek antic culture was a great culture and we enjoy'it verry much. we spent 3 days walking a lot and visiting places. in general people are kind and they give you informations in a good english. be carefull with taxi drivers..specially when you go to the airport, be cause they invent you taxes and they ask more much moneys then usual. in the airport, personel was verry unpolite, they look bad at you, they don't give you right informations, they are nervious. we will never go back there unfortunatelly.

Rhodos-Kos (18 days!!). Both islands are fine...too much to write here. if u need any info or advice ask please! the best advice- rent a car!! and go all around the islands! from Rhodos is easy to visit Symi and from Kos - Kalymnos, Nissiros, Patmos and Turkish Bodrum if u want. great stay!

Crete+ Santorini - the perfect combination for most of tourists! Crete is wonderful island, very highly reccomended!!!! sooo much to see, churches, monasteries, caves, beaches, aicient towns, small villiges, mountains!!! very very friendly and warm to tourists locals, great food and much sun and excellent sea - all in all much positive emotions and impressions! only dont stay in hotels and take ALL Inclusive!!! Crete is a place to travel , not to stay on the beach all day! by the way sun is very dangerous.... Santorini is a paradise!! something fantastic but for few days, not more than 5 days i think as its small and 3 says needed to see it all!! If u can afford stay in Thira or Oia!!! with a fantastic view to caldera!! if u are limited in money- Kamari and Perissa for you, those have beaches with grey- sometimes black sand. ideal for couples and all romantic people. the best place for marriage!!!!

the first visit to Greece. Well Elounda is very expensive place but very nice one of the niciest to stay, very far the town Agios Nikolaos. Elounda is a quite place a village with mostly very very expemnsive hotels but some are not. note that many of then located on the hills so u need much climbing in that case. the most expenisve usually located down to beach. a pretty village with a view to Mirabello bay and Spinalonga island (worth visiting!). great fish restaraunts and nice bars. NOT for teens and very active people who like dancing all night and clubbing. for those there are Malia and Hersonissos or at least Agia Marina. well Elounda is at the east of the island so if u plan to visit west its far even by car. so the first stay we visited only half and island and the west of that left for second time. so if u want to try to see all parts of Crete may be its better to stay in the center ... anyway Elounda and Agios Nikolaos are great places and may be one of the best. Eventhough Chania i liked more as a town than Agios Nikolaos. where to go and what to see - too long to mention and there are millions of travel sites in web for that. to make it shorter Greece is sure a great place to visit.

Nice Hotel with see side, my veranda was touching by the see. With a small boat half an hour there is a small island (Marathonisi)with magic caves full of blue light.If you rent a car its very nice to visit the west side of the island and then with a small boat (kaiki) you can visit the shipwreck and you can dive in deep waters

38' Chartered sailboat with a captain that's sailed the waters for 20+ years. Knew so many folks. Went where we wanted when we wanted for 9 glorious days. Met some amazing people and saw some beautiful places. Kea, Ermoupli, Sifnos, Serfos, Ios and Mykonos for like 1.5 hours - really want to go back. Athens for a day. The best trip of my life, until the day before I left but that's for another time.
