General information:
MINDSET: I am a person with very high moral standards and a conservative view. As a child I was mostly influenced by my grandparents and their honorable way of life. It is not for nothing that my friends always called me "Paladin" (a kind of hopelessly righteous knight). Being such an kind of "living anachronism", it is sometimes hard for me to deal with these modern times with corrupted morals as far as the eye can see. Though I am not a dreamer, it is sometimes hard to take the truth: "Nothing is more difficult and nothing requires more character than to find oneself in open opposition to ones time (and those one loves) and to say loudly: No! " (Tucholsky) WORK: I work as a quality manager in a big company. FAMILY: I am separated (after having a relationship for 11 years) and have two lovely little girls who mean everything to me. HOBBIES: craftsmanship (especially woodwork and redeveloping real estate), hiking, swimming, reading, politics, philosophy, music, meeting friends, cooking, travelling and culture, camping, cars and many, many more (if I find time)!

Appearance:
PHYSIOGNOMY: I am 198cm tall and my weight is about 106kg. My hair is dark blonde and grey. CLOTHING: My clothing style is mostly conservative or casual, depending on the situation. I like wearing suits at the office or for going out, but I also like wearing jeans in leisure time, a bluey when working on the house or my old camouflage uniform when going hiking or camping. BODY TYPE: In my best years I was very athletic (commissioned officer, 100km military marches, marathons, gym) but during the last few years I was (too much) focused on hedging my family all alone. Thus, my own health came up short and my body became quite average. I am now taking more care for myself, living up to my earlier years. BEST FEATURES: Although ladies have been telling me accordantly about some personal advantages, my best features are no externals but inside.

Looking for:
Since my dream of having an idyllic family life got shattered, I now have to make the best of it. I am not wearing rose-colored glasses any more, dreaming about love on first sight and having an ideal marriage till death do us part. But I think that there might be a lovingly and allegiant soul out there. Someone who is willing to take me as I am and who wants to be loved the same way in return. Someone who equally wants to enjoy life and seeks doing good each other mutually, but also has a deep understanding that life is not always a bowl of cherries but rather demands compromises. My two daughters are my meaning of life - and will be until the last breath I take. So there is neither room for anyone prior to them, nor in between them and me. Thus, I am not looking for marriage to start a new family and I am not looking for an "alternative mother". However, I am looking for a person with a golden heart who will understand and support that my two girls are always in the first place, trying to be a positive role model and a reliable good friend for them.
